George Henson

George Henson is a self-proclaimed “man for all seasons”. Growing up in Fort Collins, Colorado George joined the Colorado Mountain Club and got to the top of his first 14er by the age of 8.

Having a father that was an active outdoorsman, George naturally gravitated to outdoor activities and excelled at outdoor sporting events including climbing, hiking, skiing, ice hockey, sailing, golf, tennis, and the usual football, baseball, basketball, et al. Gaining an appreciation for the ecology and environment he has always been concerned with the care and stewardship of the wild and has tried to keep those qualities in the forefront of his life and career.

A designer, builder, artist at heart and utilitarian at mind, author, derivative trader, outdoor enthusiast, Constitutionalist and political gadfly, George loves life and lives each day as if it is his last. Pressing forward is not one of his weaknesses. 

Graduating from Colorado State University in ’83 from the Accounting department George worked doing tax and monthly write up work for small business and learned early on the inside out of many issues faced by small businesses today. He went on to develop a couple of businesses himself that allowed him the time and resources to design and hand-build his current off grid solar home in southern Colorado where he resides today.

Through his experience of business development and early accounting work, George has excelled at corresponding with other small business owners and has achieved a track record of successful sales in SEO and web development in his latest association with SEOhog in Denver Colorado. By understanding the motivations local business owners have today in addition to the recent technological innovations the internet and mobile devices have created, Mr. Henson is strategically and logistically positioned to provide essential and key market metrics and solutions for today’s local business challenges.
